Why Decorate with Pet Photography- Las Vegas Pet Photography

So you are possibly reading this blog sitting in a living room with blank walls. It's possible you have a few family portraits up, but they are small.  What is above your couch? A large blank space? Is your dog gazing up at you while you read, wondering why there isn't a large wall portrait up?

My home decor has always featured natural elements. I have several limited edition prints around my home with wildlife, and landscape images. Bringing nature into the home has health benefits and generally is easily matched with color tones in the home. Photography is always about an emotional connection. It takes you to a specific time and place.

So you have some large walls open in your home the blank canvas staring at you. Art is always personal and an emotional connection to the piece of artwork. What better way to decorate then with your furry four-legged loved ones. I frequently have matched my pet photography to home decor needs. I personally prefer the vibrant colors and I am personally drawn to photographs taken in color. I have on occasion printed large black and white pet portraits to match a clients home decor.

Pet photography as decor is a great conversation piece and a wonderful tribute to your family member. It can be whimsical and a fun way to decorate. The earth tones in my pet portraits often will match any color styles in the home.

My photography of pets always evokes emotions. People always look at large prints of dogs, cats, and other animals and it brings back memories of their own pets. I was recently carrying several large prints for a commercial space and everyone was commenting and viewing the large pet portraits. When friends come over to my house and Bear's large canvas prints are hung on the wall, it always draws a lot of attention. Pet portraits as decor is a wonderful design item in any home and a great tribute to your furry family member.

Bark Gallery offers several types of artwork for the walls and home. The majority of my clients love the look of canvas wall portraits. I also offer traditional framed photographs, metal prints, acrylic prints and other options. The materials are endless and I am happy to offer a free home consultation for the right product to fit your style and decor.
